Harry Houdini, the legendary magician and escape artist, was known for his incredible feats of strength and cunning. However, his final escape would be his most puzzling one yet.
Houdini was relaxing in his dressing room when a student approached him and punched him in the gut, hoping to test the magician’s claim of being able to withstand any blow. Unfortunately, Houdini was unprepared for the blows and suffered from a ruptured appendix as a result. Despite the pain, he continued to perform for several days until finally collapsing on stage during a show in Detroit.
Despite being rushed to the hospital, it was too late. On Halloween in 1926, Harry Houdini died from the blow to the stomach. This tragic end to such an accomplished and celebrated performer shocked the world.

My great grandfather who was a magician actually worked with Harry Houdini and taught Harry some of his most famous tricks and they were such good friends that as of today about 15 feet away from me is Harry Houdinis Chains a note from to my grandfather before he died on October 31 1926 and his handcuffs and a picture of his wife and him together AND a made out carpet of him all sitting in a glass box in a wall
