Kerry has performed magic for more than 40 years. From his early shows during the 1980s to today’s magic performances, DJ sets, weddings, parties, and special events, entertaining has remained part of his life.
From Taphouse Shows to MAGIKERRY
Long before MAGIKERRY became the complete entertainment experience it is today, Kerry Gibbons was already performing live magic for Illinois audiences.
A newspaper advertisement published on August 7, 1985, promoted a “Magic Show with Magician Kerry Gibbons” at Waldo’s Tap. The scheduled performance ran from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., documenting Kerry’s early days as a working magician.
From those early taphouse shows to today’s magic performances, DJ sets, weddings, private celebrations, corporate gatherings, venue events, and community appearances, Kerry has spent more than four decades entertaining audiences.
The venues, technology, and performances have evolved. The goal has remained the same: create excitement, connect with the room, and give people an experience worth remembering.

Magic has been part of Kerry Gibbons’ life since at least the early 1980s. What began as an interest became decades of live performances, practice, experimentation, and connection with audiences.

Entertainer by Night
When it is time to perform, Kerry steps into a completely different role. As MAGIKERRY, he brings magic, DJ sets, music, humor, interaction, and personality to celebrations and live events.
The workday ends, the lights come up, and the show begins.
