My partner went to a nephews wedding. The couple lit a unity candle. It blew out on its own during the ceremony. Also, the couple separated 3 months later. I think he will be a “hard pass” on the unity candle idea.

Question, so your given away AFTER the welcome and or prayer? Dad just stands there with you while the officiant welcomes guests ?

This was overall helpful. I have to say though, it’s disheartening being pressured into purchasing a bunch of different guides and courses as if that’s the best way to do it. You want us to feel the fomo of potentially missing out on these wedding hacks without giving us enough information to make an informed purchase. You want us to think we’re erasing stressors by spending money. The pressure surrounding weddings is already enough without a YouTube video springing obnoxious ads on stressed brides. My budget for my wedding is essentially nothing, which is why I’m on YouTube looking for this help in the first place. I’m just disappointed that weddings are monetized and capitalized even on the poorest level.
